This was originally conceived in March for a poster advertising a performance of Grieg's Peer Gynt by one of the orchestras Lucy Garnett plays in. Once she heard the concert was cancelled due to Covid-19, the composition, textures & colours developed through extra layers, keeping her occupied throughout the 'lockdown' in Seattle. Peer Gynt is drinking alone at sunrise whilst avoiding the (Fremont) troll, who is dreaming of his home in the Cascade Mountains in the foothills of Mt. Rainier.
