This piece was created for the foyer of Shoreline City Hall as part of Garnett's solo show, Notations. It relates to the struggles (physical, mental and emotional) that the artist has had throughout her life with the piano. Learning to play the piano is a pursuit that will always be 'In Progress', hence the title!
